Today's question for Wednesday Wisdom is, "is it an absolute necessity to conduct a retrospective? Once my project is delivered, I ask because the team is itching to get onto the next project." A simple answer to that is "yes." Agility thrives on continuous improvement, and it is important that the team gets together to review their mode of delivery and explore areas required for improvement.

This will aim to make them better and obviously more efficient. I advise that retrospectives or retros be conducted deliberately rather than taking off a checklist. Thus, while inspecting and adapting, your real value is seen in one, the cut through hierarchy as everyone is empowered to have an opinion which is respected.

And secondly, there's a visible, deeper connection in improved productivity. There's quality, there's moral, and obviously transparency, which is a big one for me. Thank you for your time and see you again soon.
