Successful Product Delivery: Managing Engagements

We invite you to join our program

This group coaching program is designed to address the common challenges faced by non-technical organizations when working with third-party vendors or consultants. The program aims to bridge the knowledge gap and improve the outcomes of such collaborations. Here's why this program is beneficial:

  •  Addressing Common Issues: The program acknowledges the common problems experienced by organizations when outsourcing work, such as budget overruns, missed deadlines, inaccurate deliverables, and strained relationships. By identifying these issues, the program aims to provide solutions and strategies to prevent or mitigate them.
  •  Readiness: We emphasize the importance of having a dedicated and informed internal team. We guide participants through a readiness checklist to ensure that they are adequately prepared to lead, drive results, and take ownership of the outcome. This checklist helps organizations assess their readiness to engage with external vendors or even internal teams over which they lack direct management authority.
  •  Target Audience: The program is designed for team leaders, contract managers, program/project managers, and individuals who hold fiscal responsibility for the outcomes of outsourced work. By targeting these key roles, the program ensures that those directly involved in managing and overseeing outsourced projects are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  •  Shared Responsibility: Everyone involved in the outsourced work holds responsibility for the outcomes. It encourages a mindset where all stakeholders understand their roles and contributions in achieving successful results. This shared responsibility fosters a collaborative approach and helps align expectations among team members.

By addressing these key points, the group coaching program aims to equip organizations with the necessary tools, knowledge, and mindset to navigate outsourcing challenges successfully. It empowers participants to take proactive measures, improve communication, and establish effective working relationships with external vendors or internal teams.

Note: This program will work for organizations that work on products/services where another internal team is doing the delivery work as well and we will provide information on how to navigate these challenges too.

What is the impact for organizations?

The impact for organizations from the described program can be significant and immediate. Here are some key impacts:

  • Enhanced Learning and Coaching: Participants in the program not only gain knowledge and skills, but also receive coaching to support their ongoing growth. This means that they leave the program equipped with valuable insights and tools that can be immediately applied in their roles within the organization.
  • Improved Vendor and Team Management: The program focuses on the complexities and potential challenges of managing product delivery with external vendors or teams. Participants gain a better understanding of these complexities and pitfalls, allowing them to navigate such situations more effectively. The toolkit provided further empowers them to address vendor or team-related issues and optimize their management approach.
  • Mindset Shift towards Ownership: We encourage a shift in mindset from abdicating responsibility to actively driving expectations and owning results. Participants learn to take ownership of their actions, decisions, and outcomes through better business practices. This change in mindset can lead to increased accountability and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the organization.
  • Immediate Implementation: One notable aspect of the program is its focus on practicality. All the practices learned can be implemented immediately within the organization. Participants leave the program with a clear plan outlining what they will start using and how they will remain accountable for the results. This ensures that the knowledge and tools acquired are put into action without delay.

Overall, the impact for organizations is multifaceted, including improved vendor and team management, a shift towards ownership and accountability, and the immediate implementation of valuable practices. These outcomes can contribute to the organization's growth, efficiency, and overall success.

Who should attend this program?

  • Procurement and Contracting Teams (Financial Reps) to help them develop the necessary skills to evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
